InCIMa: Characterization of intelligent materials

Tannin and lignin foams are natural materials which present very intereresting properties such as high fire resistance, low thermal conductivities and good metal scavenging activity. These products result very attractive for insulation and pollutant absorption purposes. A deep spectroscopic characterization of these materials is carried out in the laboratories of the Salzburg University and at Electra Syncrotrone in Triest.
