Biocopol 1. Synthesis of new waterproofing tannin-based polymers
Condensed tannins are well known to react with formaldehyde to produce resins which are used as adhesives. In this project, new cross-linking agents are tested and the polymers obtained are then leached to evaluate their water resistance.
